Mattox is 1 month old!

I can't believe it's already been a whole MONTH! Mattox is 1 month old! He's done great blending in with our family. He's a great sleeper and usually sleeps about 5 hours at night. He eats well and is pretty laid back (just like his brother and his daddy). Just this last week, he's started smiling and making the cutest cooing noises.

Monkey See, Monkey Do...

Cooper is really enjoying being a big brother, but he's not without some of his "jealous" moments. One of those being the swing. Cooper LOVES to swing. In fact he has a swing outside in the backyard, but it's just not fair that Mattox gets to swing everyday in the house. So the other day Cooper decided it was his turn in the baby swing. Needless to say, it didn't swing very well with a 30 lb toddler in it.

Jewel Thief

Some of my sister, Erin's, friends from LCU threw her a baby shower a couple of weeks ago. The shower was awesome, the cake was especially yummy. They did a great job! One of my favorite parts however, was my son. Cooper went around to all the girls at the shower collecting their jewelry and putting it on himself! By the end, he had rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches!!

Let's Go Fly a Kite

Last weekend we took Cooper (and Mattox, but he was asleep) to the kite festival at Legacy Play Village. Cooper really enjoyed looking at all the kites in the air. He kept calling out the different colors (some right, some not) and saying, "spin round and round".

Brothers

Mattox is 2 1/2 weeks old and we are all adjusting to being a family of four. Cooper is doing great! He's had his whiney moments and random acts of gaining attention, but for the most part he's a great helper and loves his little brother. Whenever Mattox is on the floor, Cooper HAS to play with him.
